Reports show less than 10% of the world's plastics has been recycled. Most plastic ends up in landfills, our oceans, waterways, and in other parts of the environment.
Most paperboard used in cosmetics is laminated and cannot be recycled.
Our NUDESKIN plastic packaging that is PET, which stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate, is 100% biodegradable when in landfill. Biodegradable products are not necessarily compostable.
Mixed metal can be recycled into useful industrial products such as asphalt.
